DeepSeek releases experimental V4-Flash-Vision-Exp
DeepSeek adds visual understanding to V4-Flash and provides weights, prompt-encoding references, and minimal inference code under MIT. The experimental release includes multimodal-agent benchmarks and deployment examples.
The official vLLM example uses one 4×GB300 node; it is not a minimum-hardware specification. Other configurations require checking the deployment guides. The model remains experimental, and we have not tested deployment cost or reliability.
