Odyssey-3: move forward, and the world keeps generating
A sea lion on a beach and directional controls make real-time worlds tangible. Then distinguish the Flash preview, Pro's physics score and the route from simulation to robot control.
Odyssey published a technical introduction on September 15 and announced a research preview on October 8. This reading uses original material and the public board checked October 9. Images are official video posters; preview and benchmark configurations remain distinct.

Change the next step before the scene ends
A generated clip usually arrives as a finished sequence. Odyssey's sea-lion demo puts movement and camera controls on the image. The model continues from preceding observations and new inputs, with first-person, third-person and independent camera views making action-conditioned prediction visible.
Compare this with the Astra old-house page and code games: a creator first leaves a browsable work, while this environment keeps generating as inputs arrive. Both let someone enter a scene, but their production route and reusable outputs differ.

66.1 is Pro with best-of-eight, not a Flash preview score
On October 9, the board's video-to-video verified view with All sampling lists Pro at 66.10% for BoN ×8 and 63.37% for a single generation. Both use enhanced prompts. Selecting among candidates differs from one generation, and the task tests continuation of physical experiments—not overall chat, games or robotics.
The release labels the public entry Odyssey-3 Flash, separately from Pro. WorldMark examines response to controls, returning to the same scene and visual quality. Odyssey's three-of-four category claim comes from its own evaluation. These measures should not be averaged into a BitShovel overall score.
| Model | Single generation | BoN ×8 |
|---|---|---|
| Odyssey-3 | 61.56% | 64.43% |
| Odyssey-3 Pro | 63.37% | 66.10% |

From a simulated world to a robot's next action
Odyssey also demonstrates robot arms pouring cereal into a bowl. Its research uses world knowledge as a foundation, then paired observations and actions to train a decoder or policy for the machine. The body and task still require adaptation.
For a reader, the browser world offers exploration; for developers, adapting a foundation to different machines is the ongoing question. These are official research demonstrations, not our physical-robot tests.

Start by observing one small, familiar scene
The release links a browser preview and developer contact. A suggested observation is a familiar small scene: move forward, turn and return, checking whether objects and layout continue. This borrows WorldMark's questions without creating a new score.
Our visit reached the prompt and timer, but a forest-path request returned a simulation-start error. Control was not verified. The official video remains an entry to the result; one failed start does not establish unavailability for everyone.
