Meetily turns local meeting transcription into an inspectable desktop flow

It records and transcribes with local models on the desktop, while letting people choose local Ollama or an external provider for summaries and exposing controls for storage, export, and usage analytics.

WHAT YOU CAN DO NOW

Meetily

Why it is worth noticing

“Keep meeting content on the device” becomes verifiable only when capture, transcription, summarization, storage, and deletion are separated. Meetily provides that path, while the actual data flow still depends on the version, model, and provider settings.

What remains open

We did not install or run v0.4.0. Public pages do not fully align on “all local,” the state of speaker diarization, or Community versus Pro boundaries, and we did not verify a formal security certification. Start with a consented 30-second recording containing no sensitive information, choose local transcription and local summarization, and inspect storage, network, analytics, export, and deletion results.
