Give your words a voice and music: Suno Speech
Arrange the words and their delivery separately, with music generated alongside or switched off. Official announcement and monologue examples show a new way to perform a text of your own.
Suno Speech can turn your written words into speech, with optional music. Sign in to Suno and look for Speech inside Create; beta access and allowances depend on what your account shows.

Turn written words into a spoken piece
On October 1, Suno introduced Speech beta: supply an idea, poem or written text, describe a voice and musical style, and generate speech with an original score. Our earlier Suno v6 article followed photos and humming into songs. Speech adds spoken expression as another starting point.
The official tutorial begins with a fictional museum guide, using a description of the exhibit, narrator and atmosphere to produce a script and performance. Custom Script is the alternative for words you have already written. The two modes support exploring an idea or performing an existing text.

Keep the words, change the delivery
A fictional station announcement is presented calmly, then with the same script and increasingly frantic direction. Custom Script holds the words; Style of Speech describes their delivery. Compare the official clips at 3:11 and 3:31.
For a personal message, this separates the words you mean from the way you want them delivered: a quiet conversation, stage monologue or enthusiastic encouragement. That turns “more emotion” into a more specific creative choice.
- Hear two performances of the announcementCompare 3:11 and 3:31; we have not independently rated sound quality or Chinese delivery.

Generate music together, or add it later
Background music defaults to on, but can be disabled. The tutorial presents scored spoken word after 4:34. If a video already has music, clean speech leaves the score for the edit. These are different entry points for combining text, voice and music.
For a travel note or project introduction, decide which thought needs room to settle and where music should recede. Then replay those moments to check complete wording, pace and emphasis. This is our creative advice, not a measured verdict on the demo.

Start with a short text of your own
Suno announces web and mobile beta access, with Speech inside Create. A short memory, greeting or narration can start in Custom Script, with delivery and music ideas in the style description. The tutorial recommends plain paragraphs rather than song-section tags.
Suno warns that accents and pauses can drift in beta. We read the official material and full tutorial captions and inspected selected playback visuals; we did not generate audio, conduct a complete listening review or test Chinese. Anonymous Create access returned to the homepage. Check account-specific limits and conditions rather than transferring song allowances to Speech.

From songs to speech: follow another route through music generation and local edits.
Use voice identity, pauses and line-by-line delivery as a reference for the same words.
