When you have an image idea, many web tools ask for an account, a reference upload, or remote generation before you can judge anything. Draw Things offers image-generation and editing entry points on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, letting people download a model, start from text or an image, and decide separately whether to use cloud compute.
Who may find it useful
Creators, designers, and curious people with an iPhone, iPad, or Mac who are happy to start with one text-only, non-sensitive test image and distinguish local, account, and cloud options before they begin. It is not a fit for Android or Windows use, real-time multi-person collaboration, or treating one generation as publish-ready work.

A low-risk first try
First check the App Store system requirements, then make one text-only test image with no people, trademarks, or client material: do not sign in, enable Cloud Compute, or upload a LoRA. Let it download one model, check where the project and image are saved, notice the time, storage, and device temperature, then delete the test project.
02 / BEFORE YOU USE IT
Know the limits first
It is primarily for Apple devices; the first local generation still needs a network model download, and speed, storage, heat, and usable models vary by device. Cloud Compute and uploaded LoRAs are a separate account-and-cloud-storage route: the privacy policy says most creations can stay on-device, while LoRAs uploaded to Cloud Compute are stored in the cloud. Do not read “local” as meaning every feature, first use, and asset is automatically offline or risk-free.
Compared with other options
Compared with generators that primarily run in a web cloud, it lets a person begin on a local route and treat cloud capacity as optional. Compared with a lightweight prompt box, it offers more models and controls at the cost of downloads, device constraints, and a steeper learning curve. Cloud tools are usually lower-friction when rapid sharing, remote collaboration, or cross-platform handoff matters most.
