In a 2026-07-21 fact-check reply, Oka Apps said Aye currently uses Kimi 2.5, its own servers do not collect AI data, and sensitive actions such as pressing Send do not run by default without user approval. These are useful first-party clarifications, not an independent network audit or gate-coverage test. Material gaps and a conflict remain in public disclosures: Apple's developer-reported privacy label says data is not collected, while Oka's general policy says third-party error logs may contain IP address, device name, OS version, configuration, time, and statistics, and that service providers may access personal information. Public material does not fully explain whether page content reaches the model directly or via other services, training use, retention and deletion, error-log filtering, or the boundaries for saved skills and scheduled work. Community maintenance, content posting, and media downloads must also comply with each site's terms, account rules, and copyright.
Compared with alternatives
