One web creation · A rhythm visitors can change

Open a link and change the beat

Drum Protocol, featured by Attie, puts four drum voices into a sixteen-step grid. Visitors can change the pattern, tempo and muted tracks. One openable work shows how an AI-built tool reaches the next person.

On October 17, BitShovel opened the original without signing in and checked pad, tempo, mute and playback-state controls. We did not audition audio, export a track or create our own Attie project. Builder access and data conditions are addressed separately using current official terms.

Drum Protocol’s initial pattern: KICK, SNARE, HAT and CLAP rows, each with sixteen steps, at 112 BPM.

Change a hit, then adjust tempo and mute

During the check, enabling KICK step two changed the displayed hit count from fifteen to sixteen. One tempo increase changed 112 to 117 BPM; muting KICK reduced live voices from four to three. Play changed the status to PLAYING, and Stop returned it to STANDBY. These are observed control changes; listening is still needed to judge the sound.

The page also lists Space for transport, arrow keys to move between pads, Enter to toggle, random patterns and one-bar playback. A small change lets a visitor participate and discuss a rhythm without entering the creator’s workspace. No audio export was verified, so the interactive page does not establish a downloadable music deliverable.

A work has its own address and creator identity

Attie’s official gallery credits Drum Protocol to @brittanyellich.com, and the work’s footer links the same identity. Its own attie.site address lets a reader open it directly and a creator share it with friends. The gallery also features small games, but it does not disclose this drum machine’s prompt, revision count or particular model.

The work says the sequencer is playable without an account and keeps the current draft in this browser. Named patterns require sign-in and are described as private to the account. BitShovel read those notices without testing authenticated saving or restoration on another device. Opening a work, saving a pattern and creating a new work have different entry conditions.

Check the builder’s conditions before making your own

The terms checked October 17 still describe an invite-only beta in limited jurisdictions, requiring an invitation, a Bluesky account in good standing and age eighteen or above. A Sign up button and openable public works do not establish builder eligibility. The reviewed entry and terms provide no public pricing table, so this reading does not describe free creation.

These data conditions concern the Attie builder service: its policy retains prompts, outputs, sessions and persistent memory indefinitely, with no beta self-service access, deletion, correction or portability tools. Requests may be processed by third-party model and hosting providers. This does not by itself establish equivalent data submission from merely opening this drum machine. Read the relevant conditions before deciding what to give the builder.
