OpenAI’s September 10 release is available to eligible financial institutions, initially designed around investment banking and equity research. Built-in sources include Daloopa, PitchBook, LSEG News and Crunchbase, covering statements, earnings calls, company fundamentals and private businesses.
OpenAI says it hosts and indexes the included datasets without a separate provider contract or connector setup. Citations can point to tables and passages, such as the reconciliation and exclusions behind adjusted EBITDA. Access through a firm’s existing subscriptions is a separate route.
Turn analysis into usable files
GPT-6 Astra can analyze multiple sources, periods and annotations and generate charts. Administrators can publish Excel, Word and PowerPoint templates so valuation models, research notes and pitchbooks follow the firm’s format.
Institutions manage data and app access. The announcement directs eligible firms to sales or their account team. These are product capabilities described by OpenAI, not accuracy results from a financial-model test by this site.
